Who laid these eggs?

My buff Cochin decided to have a secret nest under the nest boxes and we have some developing babies. I’m just wondering if she’s the biological mother or if another hen laid these. They all look the same color. Possible breeds: Buff or Partridge Cochin, Lavender Orpington, Easter Egger, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, Silkie, or Salman Faverolle.

In my opinion, the Cochin probably didn’t lay that dark of a brown egg. My Cochin lays tan and off-white eggs, but every chicken is different. I would suspect the lavender Orpington.

Orpington. Possibly the Wyandotte, but it looks a little too dark.

Not a BLRW and probably not a Easter egger, I vote Orpington...

My salmons and wyandotte lay almost like peach cream colored eggs. They are very very light in comparrison to the one you are holding.

So what color eggs are you not getting now that the broody is not laying?
Any clue to who was laying on the floor vs, laying in the nests?
Make sure you mark the incubating eggs so you can remove any newly laid ones daily,
that might also give you a clue.
