Who Lays the Best Eggs: Frequency, size, color. ?

I know people don't agree on this.. but, my 15 month old Barred Rock is an amazing girl. Even now, in winter, she's laying every other day like clockwork. Beautiful large eggs. Unlike our Ameracauna who was molting in September and October and hasn't layed an egg since. She is apparently on permanent strike through the winter.

I have heard someone say their Americaunas are not laying either, right now. Hmmm....will have to think about this...Thanks.

I am only now starting to get eggs from my adopted flock from 3 weeks ago. I believe my RIRs, Orps and BRs are laying. Not either of the EE varieties, the CM nor the Phoenix....
