You'll get to know me. I've been warning people about silkies for over
a year now. In that time I've hatched dozens and spread the silkie
disease through our population. They stole my soul.

There is a video out there of one attacking me and also many pics of
processed silkie. Some of us eat our extra silkie roos. They taste like
chicken.

The ONLY chicken to bite me so far has been my Silkie Charli..... and BOY did he latch on! Luckily I didn't panic but rather gave him a dose of his own medicine.... he thinks twice now, but he still tries to flog my 2 year old son..... I'm afraid his days may be numbered. Eeeeeeevil Silkies!

Ignore purplechicken...his pysychiatrist lets him get on here every once in awhile to spout off some sort of nonsense...thinks it's good therapy! lol

Yes, he's being sarcastic!

I own umpteen silkies...they are the sweetest, most docile of chickens..just little piles of fluff...they are the best mommies! be careful--because of all their fluff, they don't free range well(can't see through all that fluff). You are gonnna love them...yes, buy more...we all need serious help...maybe we can go see purplechicken's therapist! lol!!!!!!!! Start a group..."Silkie addicts anonymous!"

We LOVE our Silkies. We have six of them. They are so fun. I pull up a lawn chair and can watch them for ages. They are gentle and easy to pick up and hold. Our five year old son loves them. They curl up together to sleep. Just adorable and we plan to get more!
