Thanks for the welcome! After taking in all the information and advice from numerous and varied sources, I've come to the same conclusion that I have one or two that are taking longer to figure out how to lay the proper egg. I have a fake egg in one of the boxes in the coop. I was hoping to encourage the laying in the boxes instead of my shed. I decided, however, that it was easier to give them a nest in their chosen spot in the shed. They have 3 nesting location choices. Thanks!WelcomeI’d give it a little more time and see. Sounds like you have feed and supplement available and the other gals are doing well. As far as egg eating - if I drop an egg or the rare soft shelled egg breaks open my chickens will sure gobble it up. They haven’t turned into egg eaters. I do keep a fake egg or 2 in each nest box though, maybe they figured hard shells are not going to break
