Who Needs A Feeder Anyway?

Haha, when I let one of my coops of chickens out to free range I have seen them run straight down to the porch to eat the cat food!

My cat is so disgusted and jealous of these five birds I have that to find them in his food might be the last straw - I feed the cat indoors. The five hens have been seen deliberately chasing the cat. Yet, the cat still hovers or lurks just out of sight on supervised free range.

The photos are cute!

*snickers uncontrollably* Oh deary me! Yes, the cat has that problem to a lesser degree too...mainly because I keep her food inside. But boy oh boy! Do the girls ever put the run on that cat!

That is when they aren't trying to push the dog away from his bowl! And he's a really big dog! Funniest thing in the world is to watch a 110 pound mutt be intimidated by 5 pound chickens!!

Here's why my kids need a feeder... Peep-eep was looking at me telling me that he has no idea where all the food is going

They like to act innocent and angelic, but we know better!!

Thanks for the great replies folks!!! Nice to know I'm not the only one with spoiled mischievous feathered friends.

Ingrid, I guess you could say that they went to the Redneck Finishing School. That gives me an Idea, maybe I need to start a finishing school for chicks...LOL.
