Well after having spent 6 hours yesterday walking around in the rain at work I know it is not fun and probably have not been wetter (I'm a postie) but what I found when I got home cheered me up so much so I'm still chuckling about it! As usual the 1st stop was to the garden to check on the quackers what I found was so funny...... we built a roof for their old food holder which is now not used and under this roof were my two little chocolate call's stood next to each other peering out at the rain

the poor drake was left out and the other two are broody on their nests so they did not care/notice the rain! I don't think I have seen anything funnier from those two it was definitely we're not going out there!

Is it just me but should they not like the rain???

aw, poor babies! well, my wee calls adore water but have never been the rain just my bathtub. My Muscovy are hit n miss, if it's warm and not a heavy downpour they like the rain, if it's cold, coming down hard? no they take cover, the do enjoy the after all the puddles and mud.

Mine LOVE the rain! They will purposefully stand out in it and drink from any puddles that form. I also let their food get soggy when it rains and they eat twice as much than when it's dry. So I dunno, maybe your ducks were already having too wet of a day

The funniest thing was they were right next to their shed but had not thought of that! The drake donald did not seem to care less
