I have 7 pullets of 15 and 17 weeks in a coop intended for 4 and with our house already over 2 months behind schedule the larger facility will not be in place for winter. Therefore I have to sell at least 2 of them.
In your current situation, I would keep one of each breed. It really doesn't matter which individuals you keep. Keep the one you like best for whatever reason. It doesn't really matter if they match the SOP for their breed or not if you aren't breeding for show quality birds.
If you want to get into breeding chickens for sale, I would consider picking a breed or two that you really like and focus on those. Definitely a bigger market for purebred chickens (even if they aren't show quality) than mixes.
