Who uses Hen Healer?

I just picked up a Silkie hen that has a pecking injury. She has an open wound on the back of her head the size of a quarter. The previous owner has been using Hen Healer on it, I’m not familiar with this product. Has anyone else used it and how well did it work? I typically just use neosporin and saline wound wash for my girls so I’m just wondering if I should try to wash this gunk off and stick to my usual regimen!

I use Neosporin and have good success... If you have it, that is what I'd use.
That said, Hen Healer has mostly good reviews.

Ive been trying to get the hen healer off so I can apply the neosporin but this stuff sticks like glue! I usually do use neosporin for everything. My biggest concern is that this product doesn’t have antibiotics in it.She seems weak and tired, I think she’s probably got an infection. I gave her some amoxicillin so hopefully she’ll start improving.
