I hope this ends your problems. Now kill her with kindness wave, and smile (you can mumble under your breath) But make her feel really bad that is what I tell my kids...It really works.

We live in the country but still have a very close neighbor and their dogs have gotten on my property and killed a few chickens and I have saved a few. We shot him once with buckshot and have asked them to keep them away but nothing worked. We have had to make all the changes the dog finally died. I know they think we shot it but we did not. Once I even took one of my chickens outs of his mouth in my yard and nothing cold be done. After a legnthly discussion with our sherrif I find out you can not shoot a dog for being on your property. He must be in the act aof casuing harm to something live....okay if he has my chicken or running my horse and I go to get the gun unless he is still causing harm even if in my yard I can not do a thing....Sometimes these issues can get scarey there are some crazies out there be careful! Pleasae don't think we are cruel and shoot things we try to work them out first. We went to the gun when the growled at me trying o get into my car one day in my yard!

Get Guneias they are loud and don't like strangers...

They are production reds, I bought them at the feed store. There is a high demand for eggs now and not enough hens are laying.

Which feed store did you get hens from? Callahans? I have 3 pullets that are about 8-10 weeks old and would like to have one or two more, but I don't want to start with tiny chicks again. I hope your neighbor situation works out. I'm in a HOA and I talked to all the neighbors before we got hens. I figure they can't be worse then the cats and dogs on my street. My chickens will never bite the neighbors' children, poop in their yards, bark all night or spray on other people's front steps.
