Who wants to incubate some duck eggs?

And just one more thing--I forgot to mention that I LOVE the picture of the ducks giving the pig a massage. Someone cleverer than I am should come up with a caption for that one. Quacker's Spa or something.

I wish I had pictures of my daughters duck but he passed away of old age. The disc we had our pictures on won't come up on this computer. But she is trying to get some eggs to hatch so she can raise them from babies. I hope you will consider her even though we can't post the pictures. This is wonderful of you. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. In the future I plan on doing this too. I'm just getting everything restared here. Bless you for this.

Hee hee. Hey, since there are folks who really really want the eggs, and I'm sort of on the fence about it, I'm going to remove myself from the competition.

I really don't need more to do this winter anyway.

And thank you very much for the compliments. I think they're all pretty cute too, but I'm a bit biased. The dog is a pound rescue, so I don't really know her lineage. Based on the vet's opinion, my *small* knowledge of small dog breeds, and the groomer's opinion (and groomer's usually know their breeds), we think she is a mix between Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and dachshund, with *maybe* some chihuahua mixed in. She is clipped for the summer right now, but her natural coat is long and wavy like a spaniel's. She has the personality and coloring and tail of a King Charles, but the long body and face of a dachshund. She also has a crazy crossbite that leaves her bottom teeth sticking out all the time, which could be from the King Charles line, or might be chihuahua influence--plus she's so tiny we wonder where that smallness comes from--could be from the dachshund side, or could, again, be chihuahua. Whew. I'm sure that was more than you wanted to know! lol

I was sorry about Harry too. He was my favorite--very, very beautiful. And sweet. My five-year-old, who also loved him best, is convinced that he is going to come back to us in this next hatching, so it's just a matter of waiting, lol! That's the same five-year-old who is a philosopher. He thinks very deeply about the world and comes up with lots of insightful questions and thoughtful answers to match.

Anyway. Thank you.
