They believe Anastasia and her brother were burned to provide heat for the soldiers in the woods where the rest of the bodies were found.

It is facinating and terrifying history to learn about. Go find some reliable souces for information and include as many details as you can; stuff the history books leave out.

Have fun!

The Romanovs ruled Russia for about 250 years. Peter the Great was a Romanov. The rule ended with the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II. There are still living Romanovs, but they were not from the last Tsar's immediate family. The last Tsar and his family were executed by the Bolshiveks during the Russian Revolution. There are some really interesting time periods and people who were part of the Romanov era. You should be able to find plenty of material for your report.

Holy Cow! OP go to a set of encyclopedia's really fast and look them up!! Rumors abound on here and as a teacher I won't say anything because you need to do the research yourself. You've gotten a good start just by knowing they were the ruling family, other than that some of the responses are very creative and I'm sure interesting, some are true though,, look it up and sift it out.

Listen to her. You got a head start, now look the family up.

Wouldn't have been just as easy to do a google search as it was to ask about the Romanovs here?

Part of doing the project is to do the research.

Research is far and above easier to do now a days, than when I was in highschool. Computer at your fingertips, use it.

BTW, I agree with twentynine and others who posted --> Please do your own work.

Learning about *how* to research something is part of a research project.

There are so many books on this topic. Should be easy - unless your paper is due tomorrow.
Oh, and never use Google as a named source. I have had so many students make that mistake.
