Sigh. I had trouble deciding before and even more so now.

Compared to Obama, who's literally done nothing as a senator but run for president while we pay his salary, she has enormous experience.

ETA and it's executive experience, not just legislative. People seem to forget that the presidency is an executive office.

Exactly, out of three years only 144 days at work in the Senate.

Obama voted to let children of botched abortions, that lived through it, die. He would not support the right of a living breathing child to have medical attention or feeding.

And to say Obama is an outdoorsman is like saying Bush is a democrat.

But just my opinion.

No debate or hard feelings, but would it make you feel better if her husband quit his job to care for them?

Yeah, it would make me feel better, but only a little bit. She's still got practically no experience, and if McCain croaked in office, I would be very seriously worried.

I don't like either option, to tell the truth, and I agree 100% with what Reinbeau said about dear old Mittens. He was a lousy governor who mostly sat on his tookus and whined about how much he hated his constituents who elected him.

Also, he wasn't much of a middle-class anything: his daddy was governor of Michigan and had a long career in politics, so Mittens had an awful lot handed to him that the rest of us serfs and peasants don't get a chance at. The SLC Olympic administration was known for its corruption more than anything else.

Both McCain and Obama have flipped on several issues, and neither have made any proposals I find compelling. Yawn. All of the Messychusetts electoral votes end up going Democrat anyways, we're never ever a swing state, so I think I will vote third party. Maybe next election maybe we can have a decent debate, even if there isn't a chance in coldest heck that we would ever elect a third party president. How many popular votes do third parties have to get to win a slot in the debates? 5% or something?

Yup... That's definitely true...

(Although I really value my reproductive rights... what would I do if I got raped and was pregnant... That's not a nightmare decision I'd like my President to have decided for me in advance...).
