My son-in-law just came by for coffee and told me that he is going to build me a new chicken coop!
What a great Christmas/Birthday promise. I am sooo excited and now will spend every spare minute researching and planning and drooling over BYC'ers coops. ( who am I kidding - who has extra minutes?) But hey, who needs to clean house when I can be planning my coop? I will keep my current small coop (which is a converted potting shed that taught us how much we don't know about what you need, not to mention want/lust after in a coop) ) for a couple of Silkies that I want to get in the spring. Perfect!
