Hey all!

I'm a bit curious, who's a writer on here and who's not- and if you are a writer, what are you working on right now?

A little bit about me:
I started writing my first bit of fiction when I fourteen... mostly on a dare. Since then, I have accumulated, uh....
*double checks files*

- 10 novels (Genres ranging from Redwall style animal tales to Dystopian, SciFi, Historical, Romance, and Drama... well they all have drama.)
- 5 children's books
- 3 biographical novels
- Too many short stories
-
A million miscellaneous and assorted bits, pieces and ideas
(these are not related to research, ramblings or college.)

Yes it's a lot and full disclaimer, none of these are published, but I hope to change that in the next year or two. That being said, for those of you who are writers, (doesn't matter what "level") I'd love to hear what you're working on and greatly encourage others to share memes, writing tips, quips, dreams or unfulfilled ideas (that you don't mind sharing) on this thread! Perhaps we can encourage, amuse or inspire one another... or maybe all three. Have fun y'all! ;)

no, that's not my real name.

Good for you!
I can't say it is my entire career since I've had about a dozen careers in my life, but I have written often for work and pleasure. Mostly technical writing, business writing including training manuals as well as essays. I have a couple books in the works but I'm not published. I did win an essay contest at the University of Missouri and that piece is in the archives of their library.

That's amazing!!!!! I hope you'll be able to get some, if not all published eventually!

I love writing, especially creative writing... the last time I wrote though was when I was around 11 or 12, I have to get back into it soon. 😂

that is so awesome!!! I have one book published (a childrens book) and im working on three as of now. I've been told by so many people working on multiple means they never get finished but its the only way i can make progress. I read a lot, and tend to get into moods wher ei want to write one specific thing, so now i have a book for each urge to write about.

That's awesome! My issue is I get hit by random fits of inspiration, take a million notes, do a bunch of world building, start writing, then hit inspiration block at about pg 5 🥲

That is really neat! What would you say is your favorite piece to have worked on?
