Butt checks!!! Also watching my pullets behavior helped very well, you just things like that. My Plymouth Rock, other ISA, and Easter Egger don't pass the butt check as a layers just yet, but Sunny (ISA Brown) sure does!

Now every time you find a new pullet egg in the nest you can check again to find out who laid it.
