Hi All,

I am new but wanted to start this post to see if we could get those of us in South East NC in one string so that if we needed face to face help with things we could try to work something out with maybe the PM function. I live in Wilmington North Carolina. I am going to throw in a bunch of Towns below just so that if someone searches, this string will pop up.

Nice to meet you. I have 4 chicks that are about three weeks old. First time for me but all is well thus far.

I have a small flock of 20 Naked Neck 'Turkens' that are 6weeks old. My kids are begging me for some Easter-Eggers so they'll probably be joining the family soon too.

I have to say, being new to most of this, I had to look up turken. Sounds like they are a great breed to have. Just getting started in Wilmington. I have 2 Black Minorca's and 2 Barred Rocks that are about a month old and I just got two black sex links Friday that are probably only about 4 or 5 days old. Glad to know you are out there. Do you just use them for eggs or are they for "dual purpose"?
