I am so excited I just hatched my first call duck

I also hatched a lonely bantam yesterday so I put these 2 together to see if they would get along while i got a material floor warmed up in the next brooder

Thanks this was my first try at any duck and then i read how hard the call ducks were so i have been so nervous!!! Plannning on setting some more once i have room in the bator but one of my hens seem to be getting broody. so i may let her have this round.

GOOD MORNING!!

I HAVE 2 DUCKS!!!!!! this morning my hubby woke me up at 5am to announce i had a duck.
He had seen me pacing back and forth for 2 days and knew i was waiting!
He was saying it's so tiny and cute "get out of that bed and come see"


Here is the first one he hatched sometime last night and the other hatched about 30 minute's ago.
The pic is the first one and the other is the egg that just hatched.
I will get a pic of it soon as it has dried and rested.

I"M SO PUMPED AND EXCITED!!!!!!

I too was very nervous after i heard how hard they were to hatch but these little guys just popped out.
I didn't have to help or do anything and they are ADORABLE.
