I'm starting to get excited!!! Less than a week left!!!

Nothing yet here I'm bummed! This should be the first day some might have hatched. I'm not giving up however.

Are you still hatching in the basket? You can candle a few of the eggs to see if the chick is in the aircell. You should see a shadow in the aircell. And hopefully breathing. If the chick is breathing the shadow should be fluttering. Its ok to candle this late into incubation just be extra careful.

So I've got some leads on hens to buy.

This is a failed hatch.
got hens to pick up this evening.
I'll buy chicks next time.
Will not try this again unless I have a bator.

When we did the egg-topsy none were fertile.
