Who is hatching, how many and what?

I am hatching a mixed batch of 9 eggs. The eggs come from, Bantams, silkies and polish. The bigger ones are americauna and ri reds and barred rocks. So it's anybody's guess. I got my eggs off eBay from a farm in New Hampshire. I have four little eggs and 5 big ones.

Today is my day 16. 2 more days til lockdown. I expect to hatch on Saturday/Sunday.

Did I mention I was excited? This is my first hatch!!

Me !! I have a hatch (under a broody) due this Wednesday. This is my first and I am SO excited!! I got fertile eggs from a local farm since I do not have a rooster. It will be interesting to see what kind of strange mutt chicks hatch. My flock is made up of Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks an a black sex link. One of the eggs hatching is a green egg.The rest could be a mix of just about anything. Let me know how your eggs do and I'll do the same ! Good luck!!

Day 21- Not sure what is going on with the eggs. Broody mama really doesn't want to be disturbed. She hopped off yesterday for a couple of minutes. I am finding it difficult to be patient. I keep thinking it will be some sort of miracle if any hatch. But I guess it really is a miracle after all! Not sure if I should even try to candle at this late stage.

yeah, i wouldn't candle at day 21, I want to candle mine so bad just to see if they are still ok, but i'm trying to keep my hands busy!...lol

I have pips and peeping!! Yay!!!!! Hopefully all goes well under the hen and they will hatch fully. I hate being patient. Apparently it is a lesson I need to learn!
