I dont like those color combos... looks like easter in the 80's.

Just remember the goal of any website is to provide what the majority of visitors want, in such a way that they remain and utilize or buy the websites' offerings.

In this case, the majority of visitors are telling you this:
you have made a simple error in judgement and they would be more open to the offerings on the site if a color change were made.

It isn't personal, and the question, "What do you think...?" was asked, after all.

You gotta take emotions out of it and just go with the feedback.

The contents on the site are great and something I want to check out more but I have to agree the yellow sort of did hurt my eyes. It is too 'out there'. If you were going to pick a soft yellow you would totally rock.

i agree, its a very bright yellow and pretty much all the colors are too bright. dull, light or quiet colors (like the ones on BYC) are easier on ones eyes and they make the site look more proffessional in my opinion. bright colors makes it look like a bad website.
