Who's Setting Eggs This Week[end]? [August 8-14]

Congratulations to all the pips and peeps happening!

I've still got 6 more days until hatch day, I'm already impatient! I want to see some babies .

I'm also Searching for my next batch of eggs to set next

Go to Walmart for 1 hour and come back to 2 hatched eggs. I can't tell which one came out of which egg. Have 10 more pipping. Will have to move my month old and 2 week old chicks to new brooder tote. Have to move my serema rooster and his 4 ladies out of the tote in the bathtub to there new pen. The serema rooster has started crowing at all hours of the day and night.

well the crazy egg dreams have started again. I had a dream my silkie eggs hatched and they were little yellow ducks! and my cochin eggs were baby alligators! every time Im due to have eggs hatch I start having the weird dreams. last time it was legos in the eggs.

I love to hear the funny crazy egg dreams.

what day do they start rocking? is it after they break through the air cell?

I have had only 2 eggs ever rock in4 or5 hatches .I dont know if it beforethe air cell ot not.

Mine haven't been funny....I keep dreaming that my husband is killing and eating my chickens Last night I dreamed that he was killing them with fire works and I woke up trying to kick him....

Must be all the stress from hatching! lol

Yay!!! I just bought some new eggs off of ebay!

I got 3 lemon over black [gold laced chicks]
and 3 blue/chocolate over black/chocolate [not sure what I'll get out of there]

Only $20 including shipping so I'm super excited. I will start them in my old crap incubator and when my other group hatches, I'll move them over to the brinsea.

In retrospect, I wish I had gotten the 20 eco instead of the mini advanced....I can only stick 7 eggs in the mini.

Also bidding on 6+ Pure English Orphingtons.

So at the end of the day, I'm going to have Pure English Orps, 75% English Orps and plain Orps. My BOs are girls though, so the eggs will still have the English lines in them....I can't wait for these babies to hatch and start growing

Sorry for the ramble, I'm just excited about having a flock of Orphingtons! lol

thanks for asking. It is just cloudy. It rained all night last night. Little bit windy before bed... I haven't notice anything else. we were ready for the worse tho... so glad that is passed up. Hope you guys are ok up there... I see it is going for FLA.
