YAY finally day 18 for me today so eggsited LOL i will be putting them into lock down when i get home this afternoon.

Didnt you tell me about the chick chair?or was it someone else?
Wanted to tell you that i put Harley the little crippled Lo from 2 weeks ago into a chick chair b/c he was getting worse doing weird things with his good leg even .When i took it off last night for him sleep he actually could stand up!...Not real well but on 2 feet.There is still hope!!
. Hes back in today..Not happily but in.I actually think he does like it his food is right there in front of him .no antics to get it.

Ok here he is in it..not very pretty mostly everything is duct taped and piecemealed but its all that i can get to stick in the hot brooder room and this works well!!. His mirroru is his " Friend" since he doesnt have any .Poor guy /girl.Well i call him Harley he may be harlet oh! i didnt mean that... hummm Harleen?
Now i am confused it could have been Calichick who told me b/c she said she had some with bad legs too... older..
well anyway to whoever told me ...it works!!Have thge yogurt cup in front for balance or he would tilt over!

my first baby is out! is this ok on his belly?

Shouldnt be any blood at all..Mine some had a white thing sort of stuck to them and the egg. shell .. which dried up and came loose eventually .Maybe it will dry up too.
.I wouldnt do anything or else and put a thread out to see if someone with more knowledge knows. Sorry i have heard of this but dont know what they do.

Got up to 4 more hatched out for a total of 10. With 5 more pipping. I have a black one hatched in a batch of RIRs. Not sure what it is. Will have to check with my dad to see what it is.

Well my 6 miniature silkies should hatch today. Nothing this morning when I woke up and I'm in work now. Will I find any babies when I get home I wonder?
Got 9 more eggs due to hatch tomorrow so hoping to have a few babies to fuss over this weekend. They were all shipped eggs so I'm not expecting miracles.
Can't wait!
Humidity is a steady 70, so better than my first attempt where nothing hatched. I so want some babies this time!

Oh Iso much want you to get some !Terioble whe you fuss and worry and then get none.
...My first 2 hatches i got nothing and wa sososo dissapointed.BUt when i got my first chick I didint even care a lot if i got more as long as i had ONE anyway!!BEST OF LUCK to you!!
