Who's Setting Eggs This Week[end]? [August 8-14]

Okay that is it.

I am not going to look in there again for 2 days.

I get up this morning to...

First one actually looks like a breaded showgirl.

Second pip has made some improvements. And 2 additional pips.

They really don't want me to watch.

Hello Jamesh glad to have you here !!!.
Why dont you also come over to the thread for setting eggs this week ..There are a few up here for different weeks
..On those everyone would be hatching around when you are so it makes it more fun..
.This thread we are mostly hatching chicks out out this weekend ( a few arent.) but we all pretty much will be sort of gone after we hatch our chicks and you wont have many ppl ;to talk to here... We will be done or on to the next thread with current setting for a hatch.LOts of of us will be setting again i am sure and plentyu of good help on your first hatch.
.
Would like you to join up there too so we can watch our eggs together as the weeks progress..One thread starts "Here we go again! Setting August 28-Sept 8th" Anoter i thinkends in YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO!! but notsure of the dates.
NONe Ma ybe your EXACT setting day but close enough and we all dont care...!There may be another thread around this date. ..OR....START one of your own!!Anyone can!
WE will all join yours and the others too,
.
What are you hatching out? Shipped local eggs .? And yes what kind of bator?

OH Jamesh ..that is common problem the swinging temps and humidity
Try and keep it under 103 that a little too high
.If you see its too high open the lid and get some of the heat out so it doesnt harm the eggs...then turn it down lower and wait until the light comes on see waat temp it comes on ...if comes on still too high turn it lower. Always wait a 1/.2 hour to ajust again though as it takes that long to settle to the right temp after you turn it up. ..
Try not gt go over 101 tops.
Better to be a little low than too high.
You might try putting it in a closet or some place there is no draft at all.My first 2 hatchs mind did that badly .Didnt think i had a draft in any way... saw someone on BYC say they put it in their closet 3rd hatch tryed it and worked... settled down well!!.
GOOD LUCK!
