Who's Setting Eggs This Week[end]? [August 8-14]

Temp has been holding at 99-100. Room temp is 75

Thats what Im worried about happening. my temp has been anywhere from 99 to 102 Im afraid they are gonna hatch early. They are due to hatch next thursday and i have to have surgery on wednesday so I dont wanna miss the hatch!

99 to 102 seems to happen this time of year in the styrofoam incubators. At least mine lol.
my own eggs or local eggs hatch good but tough on shipped eggs this time of year...
I tried to adjust for a long time and that is what it likes to be at.
98.5 to 101.5 in the am
99 to 102 in the afternoon...
adjust adjust adjust and the same thing happens. as the eggs develop seems worse with more heat in there and all.

use two flashlights one on top one on bottom thats what i have been doing and it works great to see in my dark day 14 eggs

Thats about the same temps mine has been running day and night. I just gave up on adjusting cuz its gonna do what it wants. as long as it dont go over 103 and below 95 then I just let it do what it wants.

My little cheepy laid her first egg today!!

shes 19 weeks old.

YIPPEE!!!

I only have 4 more months of waiting for mine to start laying...lol. I will be lucky if they even start because it will be December (winter) when they turn 19-20 weeks.

Went to turn my eggs and I have one pipping. Only day 19. Have 44 eggs in lockdown due to hatch Saturday. Another 46 going in to lockdown Tuesday due to hatch Friday. Have a busy few days ahead of me.

Could it have started to develop before you set it? I am pretty sure that is what happened with 2 of mine from the last hatch. They pipped and hatched on Day 16 and 17. The temperature's outside here in Florida have been in the 90's and the humidity has been up there too.

I am up to 9 pipping this morning. Hear chirping all over the incubator. Had to adjust temp bottom tray spiked to 102.
