i guess it is going to wait for the others now. Must have looked up and said..hey, nobody is at the party yet.

I am having all sorts of trouble with the humidity. I filled the wells. I cut the bottoms off Solo cups, put them under the wire bottom and filled them. I added three sponges. It was 49 this morning, I got it to 71 and it's back to 54. Ugh! I keep spritzing through the little holes in the top a bit of water to moisten the paper towels I lined it with. I am so scared I'm going to kill these. I see no motion, nothing![]()
It's an LG. I got great advice from some pretty serious hatchers who use it, and I got 100% with local eggs in my first hatch, doing nothing fancy. But we moved to a new house in the last month, and ambient RH seems to be different here. The temperate held great other than one spoke, but the RH is driving me bonkers.
I added a great big wet sponge not long ago. Hope that helps.
I'm opening this bator way too much trying to fix this. Ugh.
ETA: hatch day is tomorrow.
I found that I always had better luck raising humidity with a damp sponge than I did with any amount of water bowls...I hope your humidity gets where it's supposed to be!!!
