I have one hatched with 8 more pipping. 44 eggs total to hatch.

Here we go...Went into lock down this morning . Things looked good last night see what happens.Lots were all dark...(.Hope they all werent totally full of rot instead of babies...My luck..).
.Funny this batch had no ice pack and it was hot. 100.....I thought i wouldnt get any from it ,well i still might not but did have 11 eggs looked good last night of 14 .I was so shocked.GO figure.The Hatch Gods must have had a good month to allow me to get this far with so many eggs with the worst shipping circumstances. Now if i just dont shrink wrap them.........Come on egglets be ALIVE and come OUT!!

Well i my lock down day is tomorrow and so far i have 18 viable live baby's as of today from shipped eggs out of 30 so this will be my best hatch for sure if all of them make it so fingers crossed they all make it.

Okay, so I promised myself this was going to be the last hatch for the year and I get a phone call from a lady this morning telling me she will have a dozen TRUE Araucana eggs for me early next week. She literally lives 10 minutes from my house so I can pick them up and don't have to worry about dealing with shipped eggs. I am saying NO! NO! NO! but the price is unbelievable...$15/dozen.

How many eggs do you have in? Were they all dark on day 17 or 18?Is this in your genisis? has to be bad eggs or humidity if they dont hatch...or shipping if you had them shipped..Im like a broken record with the shipping hAHAStil lday 21 so plenty of time for more.(hope your post wasnt last night forgot to look)

well that was the only one to make it. I float tested then opened the eggs. all died. It was runny inside too. I think the genesis is a good machine, but i live in an extremely humid climate. During the Isaac storm we had 100 percent humidity days. So my guess is toooo much humidity killed them. i am going to finish this next batch at a slightly dryer level.

I agree. I'm just having a bad day from the start!!
The ponies are spooking all over the yard, one knocked down the chicken fence and got stuck inside (I zip tied it back up though) the neighbors never took them home last night so the ponies are pissy and covered in flies. Plus there was 20 mounds of poop dotting the yard. Lol
I went to catch the chickens that escaped and I literally had 7 Mosquitos eating me within seconds of going out, it's been raining for 2 weeks straight and I'm babysitting my friends infant ;luckily he's a good baby...
But I'm grumpy and tired and I need a nap.
Grrrrr. Wish I could restart the day.

So far I have 3 fuzzy butts. 2 RIR and a suprise brahma. I thought all the eggs were RIRs.
