You know you gotta do it!!
Crank that bator up and come over to the new thread we have going
.I shut my other bator down a few days ago but this one keeps chugging away...more eggs more eggs
well that was the only one to make it. I float tested then opened the eggs. all died. It was runny inside too. I think the genesis is a good machine, but i live in an extremely humid climate. During the Isaac storm we had 100 percent humidity days. So my guess is toooo much humidity killed them. i am going to finish this next batch at a slightly dryer level.
They were from my dad. He told me they were RIR. I guess he slipped in a light braham egg with the RIRs.Swindlena
Naybe a LightBrahma. Are they your eggs or shipped.?
I have my best % of live eggs too and feel the same.I think we dont want to dissapoint ourselves!! TOO good to be true!!!This is my best ratio for shipped eggs going into lock down (8/10). And I have this bad feeling that none are going to even hatch. I don't know why, had consistent temp and humidity the first 18days and movement in the eggs. Just this bad feeling, I can not shake.
Its premature, I know, since they aren't even due til Friday.
