Who's Setting Eggs This Week[end]? [August 8-14]

Looks just like my silkie when she hatched thursday. yellow tips on wings and white colored butt. and yelow and black feet!

My RIRs are finally done hatching. Took 4 days to hatch. Started on day 19 and finished on day 23. Total of 28 chicks. 26 RIR, 1 Light Braham and 1 unknown chick. Out of 44 eggs. Now I am waiting on my seremas to start hatching. I am on day 19.
 
Day 22 and only 1/6 has hatched. I have a gut feeling that the others are not going to make it. No movement, no pipping no chirping. The one that pipped on the wrong end has not progressed at all. I started chipping the shell away late last night and nothing. On the brighter side I went to get my araucana eggs today after work. The lady I bought them from is very nice and she has a small flock of 5 hens and 2 roos. She only had 5 fertile eggs ($1each) so I got those and then she also gave me 5 others that she doesn't think will do anything because the hen had just started laying a few weeks ago. I told her I would try setting them and if they hatch she can have the chicks back. I also ended up buying 2- 1 week old- Araucana chicks (a black one and a lavender one) and a mixed Brahma (buff colored) . I figured my single chick at home could use the company.
 
Six out, one 3/4 out and one drowned (upside down internal pip).


So 1 silkie and 6 showgirls.

Although one has a bump (fluid filled) on it neck and a bloated stomach. Absorbed yolk before hatching. But she is vocal and active.

Bummer on the low hatch rate, but it sounds like you've got things right under control! Kudos!
