Whos that mystery chook?

Hi everyone,

We recently got 6 chooks. A Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire, Plymouth Rock, Brahma, a Barnevelder and... that other one!

The breeder said she wasn't sure what it was but it came in as a Barnevelder. Any ID tips would be great. I've only ever had Isa Browns before so definitely could use a hand.

Sorry about the photo quality, my phone isn't great and she is by far the most skittish of the new 6.

The last photo is the happy family shot! You can't see the mystery chook in there, she's squished in the middle

She's a mixed breed. Your Barred Rock is actually a Cuckoo Marans.

Cuckoo Marans should have pinkish white legs. The bird in question has dark slate legs.

Looks white beneath with a dark wash. They're not slate. Rocks have yellow skin. I see zero yellow.
