Who's the daddy????

July 24th this beauty hatched and I'm not sure if the dad is my frizzle cochin or my silver laced polish. Mom is a white silkie. What do you guys think????

Can you post a pic of the comb? The Polish Y comb gene usually gets passed on, and can have some very odd effects on other comb types. Considering how sparse the leg feathering is, I suspect that the Polish is the father. A white silkie crossed with a solid black Cochin should produce a solid black chick.

This is what I'm seeing also. My Silkie/cochin mixes are more rounded and fluffy, with pretty heavily feathered legs and toes. This bird is more streamlined looking, like the Polish.
