who's top "dog" in your duck flock?

I decided to post this because I am finally starting to figure out who's who in my flock LOL

in the drakes, my muscovy Drake squeaks, who is pretty much fearless nowadays is deffinatly..rather quietly the big guy on campus, he sits back and watches, but when he gets into it, he GETS into it, big time.

Big lenny(pekin) and Mojo(mutt) are somewhere near second in command, and Boris(pekin) is...eh, second and a half LOL.

Jacobi(mallard) is third, and the three little calls they pretty much bicker amongst themselves way down at rhe bottom of the pecking order.

In the hens, Akai and Stencil are at the top, they are the bossest runners I've seen

Rosilee ('scovie) is second in command, she's always got this "durrr" look LOL, Maude(pekin) is somewhere around there too

Mouse and Tal (mallards) are 3rd, they can kick butt when they want.

Sage, Junna and Jumper(swed,magpie, and crested mallard) are all in the same spot at 4th

and mouses poor little hen duckling, Zip is waaay at the bottom, no respect yet LOL.

the geese, well they don't count, they're referees

y'all know how pwkin drakes can get, both of mine are the same, agressive, pushy, dominate ect.

well, the other day, Boris and Mojo decided to get into it, after Mojo promptly kicked Boris's butt, Boris decided to pick a fight with Squeaks, wasn't his best idea considering that Squeaks is about twice his size and probably wieghs 10 pounds more, Squeaks did this jump-kick thing, and boris went flying LOL, then Squeaks prroceeded to grab Boris by the feathers on his shoulder blades and ripped abunch out, Boris is like "OH SH***" at this point, and is trying to get out of it LOL, but Squeaks grabs him by his head and starts PULLING in him, he's literally pulling him across the pen

, at this point I break them up, cause I'm afraid that Squeaks is gonna kill Boris.

mind you that boris didn't learn a darned thing!, the next day he's back to his old self

I have a "gang" of three Blue Swede drakes who rule the barnyard--especially Hans. My swedes are all at the top, followed by my mellower Rouens, the mild mannered Cayuga, and my sweet as a hen Magpie drake, Wags. He's a doll and never fights with anyone.

Definitely Maddie, short for Mean.Azz.Duck, the BEI is the boss lady.

Road Runner (Buff) is definantly the ring leader.

Second comes Monty. He is the old geezer and the girls follow him.

Third varies between Sharpie (magpie) and Blaze ( cayuga) . Although blaze is out of hte running due to a dog attack last week, she is STILL limping.

Then in fourth comes the four 4 m/o Buff mutts from my april hatch. They basically follow mama around.

And last are my Week olds. They arent out in with the flock yet but when I put them in the corral out there they sure do get some attention.

kinda funny but my cayuga hen is the boss here! then joey the magpie drake, and my mixed pekin. everyone else is trying to figure it out

I have a Muscovy, two Pekins, an Embden, and a bunch of chickens. My Scovy has a crooked neck so he or she (not sure yet) looks like it's harmless and helpless, but boy... look out...

he or she can be a real monster to the chickens if they get too close to it's buddies. The two Pekins tend to be really good and are generally sweet to everyone.

My khaki campbell Curtis is our ringleader. Him and Gandolf are the only males of 9 ducks and Curtis keeps almost all the females save one or two who seem to prefer Gandolfs more laid back personality. I cant really tell the females apart except for one female who I call Disco Duck. She does this weird thing where she dips her head to the ground while she is walking. She has done it since I got her at two days old. lol
