Who's up for a good guess on this pullet?

@jwyles and @Mountainbeauty yoire taking about the one with the funky feathers, right? I'm happy she's a Welsummer! Any ideas on the other one?

To me they look like they could both be penciled rocks or the Meyers hatchery welsummer. I don't see much difference in the two from these picks. To me the Meyers version of welsummer is more red looking. Is there any reason they can't be the same breed?

I'll try to get pics of them side by side tonight. I may not have captured it well in the pics but they look completely different in person lol

Well I don't mean to give the impression of an expert lol! Im far from it but I just saw the Meyers welsummer and thought it looked just like these birds however I also thought it looked like a partridge rock but didn't realize that was a possibility. You may have to wait and see.

I think it is a welsummer.

My guess is that the top one is a Welsummer, she looks like the 2 I got from Meyer in late June. The pattern on the second one doesn't match but does look "partridge". It will change again with the next juvenile moult. My guess is one of each
