This is Ginger in all her adorableness. She has the unlucky position at the bottom of my very short pecking order. As you can see she's a bit rumpled, but I love her all the same

So who (and what breed) hangs out at the bottom of your pecking order?

1.) I cook the oatmeal
2.) Carry the water
3.) Change their bedding.
4.) Scoop their poop.
etc, etc, etc...........Yep, that seems like the bottom of the pecking order to me.

Milly is at the bottom of my pecking order - I hatched her and Vincent (female) in May and she is smaller than the rest of the flock. 2 of the others pick on her at food time but otherwise she is left alone.

No idea atm. The pullets are currently doing the "pecking order mambo" for the 2nd in command on down. The lowest one at the moment seems to switch between the larger buff orp and the 2 EE's.

My sweet little Luna, a white Silkie. Completely and utterly left out all the time.

It's Dora, my adorable whitish EE. She is so sweet, and likes to be held. The others have been really hard on her, but she's a great flier, so she's always quick to get up on the roost, away from anyone pursuing her. The other one that takes abuse is our sweet little Australorp, Zippy. She just started laying within the last week, and I think they have been pulling the feathers on her head, and picking at her comb when she is in the nestbox. Meanies!
