Everyone needs to be sure and keep your roos spurs blunted. Think about it....they are chickens...they scratch in poo all day, dust in the dirt, walk in mud holes. Then your roo decides to kick you with a sharp spur. A spur will leave a puncture wound. You don't get it cleaned out enough, it gets infected, and a trip to the hospital you make. Especially if you have children around your birds. The story of the flog to the face is a scary one indeed.
