Why am I still up? expecting an early post office call!

My chicks shipped Monday from the hatchery and I'm praying that they'll be here tomorrow! The brooder is all set up and ready to go and I am so excited I can't sleep -- I'm like a kid at Christmas. Somebody

me and send me to bed!

The PO will call while you are in the shower. That is the way it always works for me.

Wish you luck sleeping. I won't sleep tonight cause I'm worried about my injured (healed now) buff orp. Her first night back in coop with the other girls ( and 2 boys in a cage in coop).

nooooo...I am so bummed! I'm going to run down to the PO now but I have a feeling they won't be here till tomorrow. I'm worried about how they'll fare after 3 days in transit.

I'm expecting black australorps, buff orps and SL wyandottes -- should be a cute box o' fluff when it finally gets here!

4 of us ordered ckicks from mcmurry.
This week ...............................
they sent the chicks on friday and we got a call on monday at 6:15 in the morning from the post office ..the person said that they could have called at 5 O'clock AM>

I lost 2 bantams but I think they got cold on the way home back to Canada
.and my freind has one weak one but again cold maybe .HIs house had the air conditioning on at 62 degrees,and now he has the temperature at 70 degrees.
