Seems like you really like Red will you be able to keep him if he is a boy? I just went through this with my 14 week old chicks ended up with two Roos of my 4 Jerseys! Luckily so far they are nice especially Bruno who I am rather attached to!Okay guys so I'm pretty convinced that yellow, green, black mystery chick are all cockerels. But now red is looking shady too! 6 week RIRs. If it's too early consider it just for fun and leave your guess.
That method of sexing does not work on most chickens. it only works if someone crossed the correct parent types (just like red feathers only mean pullet if someone crossed the correct parent types to get color-sexlinks.)when they were a day or two old I looked at their wings and the length of the feathers. I had three chicks that had alternating length feathers and one with even.
All chicks start by growing feathers with rounded edges. Now I'm looking at their hackle feathers and all of them look female except for Rex the green one. Even yellows hackle feathers are rounded. The black part looks pointy but the actual edge of the feathers are round.
Thank you! Still learning. I've been reading everything on BYC every second of my spare time to learn! That method of sexing does not work on most chickens. it only works if someone crossed the correct parent types (just like red feathers only mean pullet if someone crossed the correct parent types to get color-sexlinks.)

Sometime between 2 and 4 months old is when the males usually grow the pointy-ended feathers in the hackle and saddle.
Since they hatched on May 1, and this is June 16, it's still a bit early for that.
You can usually tell by comb & wattles before the male-specific feathers come in, but then you can use the feathers to confirm the gender once they are old enough (if there is any doubt.)
Yes, it can be hard to see the actual shape of the feather when the chicken has pointy markings on the feather.
Yes, whatever works for you! you know your flock and what is going to work! I know some cant keeps the roosters do to city ordinance, you really seem to like red so I was hoping you could keep him if it worked out! I love your names for them! Isn't it crazy how attached you can get to them. I ended up with 2 of my four jerseys being Roo's so far so good one Bruno is clearly the boss but he's a docile nice boy so far Antonio is nice and although challenges Bruno occasionally he always backs down. They are 14 weeks so I am really hoping they stay nice. Not noisy either Bruno is the only one who crows and he does so seldomly. It looks like I may have ended up with 2 of 5 silkies that may be Roo's One is my profile pic. I am told Albert is called a satin I got the eggs from a local farm for my broody silkie to hatch. The thought here is that Eggs might be a roo as well. This is my 1st time keeping the Roo's and it is very hard to rehome here so I really hope it works! I like your idea of a bachelor pad maybe if it becomes an issue I can separate them out to their own space. Really nice speaking with you!@Stellasmomma
So four of my six chickens are roosters. I love all of these stinkers so much it's going to be very hard. Blackie Chan, named by my husband, was our black mystery chick turned out to be a roo pretty early on. I really like him because he's got funky colors and doesn't want to be anywhere near me. I honestly thought red was a girl because she was just like purple until pop all the sudden there were wattles and a big red comb overnight. Red and purple's personalities are pretty much the same. So I'm not sure who is more docile. Rex the green band was our first obvious cockerel. He's a good boy so far won't start anything but definitely will join in. Otherwise he is very calm. Yellow, well I'll miss himI was thinking of making a bachelor and bachelorette pad. I have the two coop that I bought And haven't joined them together yet. That way I can tell who's noisy or just an altogether butthole as they reach maturity. Does that sound like a good plan?
Oh also you gave me a good laugh talking about figuring out who is noisy and who is just a butthole LOL that is something we defiantly need to know! I am hopeful all remains peaceful with my group and yours too!@Stellasmomma

I'm gonna wait it out and see who poops out and egg and who crows. I don't want to accidentally give away more babies than I have toI’m guessing 2cnd n 3rd pics are cockerals and 1st and last pullets, just a learners guess
