Why are all my chicks males?

This was my first year hatching peafowl and my success was not very good. About 2/3 of the hatched birds dies. Some were only a couple weeks old and others were a few months old. I have about 12 left and they have been healthy and strong for a while and I believe they will all live. They are all males though. Are males just stronger? Is it a coincidence? Was it the settings in my incubator that made them mostly males? Thank you in advance!

Luck of the draw. Your hen might be predisposed to males is the only scientific theory.
