that's what I was thinking but I'm worried if I do then they'll need it for some reason. When I put their food in the run they all use that and it's a small dish that barely gets empty. The food in the coop does get filled with poop and te water gets barrried with bedding.If you move the food and water completely out of the coop, that will help. There are different ways to keep water from freezing in the winter months so that will help. Many people who have small coops keep the food and water out in their runs only.
