Welcome,just get medication asap,as Coccidiosis does kill very fast. Once treatment starts,you should see no more blood in approx 24 hours,and see an improvement in your chickens in a couple of days.

If I get this cleared up can I get new chickens and they will not contract this or do I need to do a special cleaning to the goop and the ground.

Just general cleaning,you can use a diluted solution of cleaning ammonia(bleach will not disinfect for cocci,cocci is parasitic not bacterial) to disinfect feed/water containers. Clean nest boxes/coops,apply fresh bedding,etc. Coccidiosis is always around,can be carried by birds,you could bring into your area on your clothes/shoes,etc. You now know what symptoms are,so if you see any new chicks displaying symptoms,medicate immediately. Treating chickens for Coccidiosis will not harm them,but not treating will probably kill them.
