Why are my chickens laying in the sun?

Mine roll in the dust and then sunbathe for a bit. More like sunBAKE. I was never one for sunbathing so the desire eludes me *lol*

Some of y'all are crackin me up

I have thought this through and have convinced myself to quit worrying so much about the effect of the heat on the birds. I am doing everything I can and will continue to, but if they want to sunbathe, more power to 'em. I guess they have enough sense to know when to get out of the sun...
