So sorry about the hatches.
Condensation on the windows is NOT a good thing.
I would concur it sounds like too much humidity. They drown at the end of their hatch.
Have you calibrated your hyrgrometer? This is crucial, because if it is reading too low, your humidity could be higher than you realize.
I hatch around 55-65% humidty. Last night I added a bit of water to the new LG I am using as a hatcher and fell asleep. When I awoke in the middle of the night, the humidity had jumped to almost 80. Two of the chicks that hatched this morning are all sticky and gooey. All the other chicks that hatched at the lower humidity did great (13 of them).
