Why are my ducklings so skittish?

Yup!! Thats ducklings for ya-they loooove water!! If you would like to try to decrease the amount of water they splash or spill I would suggest raising their waterer. You can put a brick underneath (or anything allowing them to still reach) or you can try to hang your waterer from a ladder or the ceiling if you are in a basement or garage of some sort. This works well for me.

Yup, just like Viennaproto I would recommend giving them treats, its seems that most ducks love peas but green beans and carrots cut to around the same size as peas work too! Good luck with raising ducklings, I loved raising my three!

Okay! I got them playing around in just a little bit of water today and now they are exploring our yard (with me keeping a close eye on them)

And I was trying to feed them spinach but they weren’t too interested, But they did eat one piece

Does anyone know why they open their mouth but don’t make noise out of it? Like whenever I go over to them and pick em up a couple will open their mouth but they don’t scream or anything..
