Some of my ducklings have the wings sticking outwards. This has been happening since about 2 weeks. I'm not too sure how to treat it or what's causing the wings formation.

With My call, it was quite effective to just shove them through the leg of a sock for a week. My muscovy was too large and active though for his to be treated unfortunatelyYes, looks like some major angel wing. Cause is somewhat unknown, some think it’s due to too much protein. But genetics and lack of exercise are thought to be more likely causes now.
It’s treatable by wrapping the wings to hold them in their proper place as they grow. I tried gauze with my boy who had it, but I found the pantyhose method to be better.
I wish I could’ve just used a sock lol. Poor Muscovy, it does seem to get harder when they’re bigger / older. With My call, it was quite effective to just shove them through the leg of a sock for a week. My muscovy was too large and active though for his to be treated unfortunately
That’s the best one!
