Some of my ducklings have the wings sticking outwards. This has been happening since about 2 weeks. I'm not too sure how to treat it or what's causing the wings formation.

Yes, looks like some major angel wing. Cause is somewhat unknown, some think it’s due to too much protein. But genetics and lack of exercise are thought to be more likely causes now.

It’s treatable by wrapping the wings to hold them in their proper place as they grow. I tried gauze with my boy who had it, but I found the pantyhose method to be better.

With My call, it was quite effective to just shove them through the leg of a sock for a week. My muscovy was too large and active though for his to be treated unfortunately

I wish I could’ve just used a sock lol. Poor Muscovy, it does seem to get harder when they’re bigger / older.

My boy is a Pekin mix and started treatment around 6 weeks old. Boy slipped out of his wrapping SO much!! I had to keep him isolated with a friend and switch to using pantyhose just to give him a chance. His wing got about 90% better by the end.

A giant stretch sock or panty hose and you will have to carefully and gently fold the wing against the body. It will probably take two people. Leave that on for a couple of weeks and cut the protein in their feed.
