Why are our chicks so affraid of us??

I have 2 kinds of hens in my pullet run. One kind runs off when I come in. I do not fear them. The other kinds runs up while stomping their feet and make every attempt at tripping me to gobble up the treats that I am sure to have hidden on my person.

I handle mine a lot too, and they still freak out on me. My little Frizzle, Rizz, is handled alot more than the rest

and if I come from overhead he panics and freaks...if I move my hand in from the side, and let it sit for a moment Rizz runs over and climbs on and peeps at me.

mine are the same way they are only 2 1/2 weeks old , i have two 5 months old and i don't think they ever acted like that i am just going to keep handle them and hope they will get better
