Why are some of our ducks super dark brown all over and some are yellow

Hi everyone

I was just wondering if anyone knows why some of our ducklings are all over black and some are yellow with the mothers markings...

Any ideas? Is it a male female thing? (The white ducks are not the parents)

It will probably be because the ducklings are different colours usually call ducks can produce many colours of offspring, the dark brown ones will probably be a khaki colour whilst the lighter ones may be a light mallard colour.
