I was on craigslist and was noticed that their are a lot of piglets for sale on their. Isn't it to early in the year to sell piglets??? I don't know much about pigs but I might get one this summer.....I'm just researching it right now. But isn't it to early in the year to buy piglets??? I just don't want to decide that I want to get pigs and then have it be to late if I decide to get one in April or May.

Not to early,.....if there here.

When I was young, Dad had pigs, & we had piglets on the ground all year long. I guess dad planned it that way, so we always had pork in the freezer.

I think it's also getting to be time to purchase pigs for fair showing, demand is on the upswing right now.

Pigs have a gestation of 114 days and a weaning time of about 4 weeks so they will typically breed and have multiple litters a year regardless of the season.
