Why are they doing this??

Ok, so I have a pair of mating white silkies who have never hatched any eggs before but always are together. Everytime I lay down in the hay, they tunnel through and find a nest and lay there. They also make weird noises almost like broody noises too each other! Do you have any idea what they might be doing? Because im dumbfounded!

I had a pair of silkie who did something similar. I called it the snuggle dance. Each night at bedtime, they would climb their way up on the cat condo they used as a bed. They would coo at each other and snuggle and move around until they got just the right spot (usually on top of each other!) Occasionally they would do the same thing on my back

Did she ever go broody? I got some advice and that's what's friend told me, nd sometimes the roo helps! But you have some beautiful silkies and thanks for sharing and the advice.
