Lol, I know, but I was just letting you know that I thought that was a good idea. Helped me, anyway! I like @aart's suggestion to put a quarter next to an egg for scale, that's an even better idea but I hadn't thought of that! Does anybody have any of those nice wooden rulers any more? Or am I showing my age, lol.

I have golf balls in my nest boxes. There does seem to be favorite nest boxes. Some of the females I call cheerleaders. They seem to cheer on the other birds in the nest boxes. They can really get cranked up.

That's what I was thinking, she does that with my other girl too. Like she was cheering or rushing them lmao.

The shell was probably 'broken' during the shelling process, then 'repaired', leaving that mark.

Wow really! My other girl had a weird circle on hers, but I chalked it up to new layer and calcium maybe.
