WHy are they roosting so early?

My chickens have been going to bed early, around 3 pm when there is still daylight until 5pm... is it just because of the weather and lack of green to forage?

Mine have done that too. It didn't make egg production go down, if you are worried about that. If you are just wanting to know why, I don't know either. Hmmm...
