Why are turkey poults so fragile? Dying poult. PLS help!!

I would assume that the problems you are experiencing are that of a late hatch ??? I can not tell you for sure as I don't know.

What I would do is call gene first thing tomorrow morning and talk to him about what is going on. He is a good guy to work with and probably help you out on the ones that have died,if they are just days old ???

Edited to remove unhelpful commentary.

Yes, camping out for 48hr. might help. A bit of sugar in the water might be of some utility.

One of our RP poults simply faded away and died in my hands. Another flipped, but the brooder was in the bathroom and we got to eyeball them often. The one that flipped is now our 4yr. old RP tom.

We lost all three of our BBB poults to spradle leg that showed up during their third wk. This was apparently due to excessive temp. at some point during incubation (info. was that it occurred ~10d).

Here is some info that might offer some insights. http://www.pjbs.org/ijps/fin46.pdf

Sure
wish you and your survivors the best!

Hi all. This was my first time tring Poult raising. I bought 3 from Atwoods in Crossett Ar. They had been on the ground with my chickens, guineas, ducks, and geese. This week one looked weak in the morning then by afternoon dead. A day later same thing. Two days later the third is dead. They had plenty grass, oyster shell water and chopped corn. I have no idea why they died. Nothing else is sick
